OK… submission applications require digital pix – I can do that (grin). Dusting off the D3 to create a small “light-box” in the basement office. Long long past, I worked as a professional news photographer; then often bought studio shooters while working in the Agency and Corporate worlds. All the research regarding gallery/exhibition submissions place tons of weight on quality of art images (makes perfect sense). Will get the set-up finished and then pop some tests. Will be knocking out the backgrounds and dropping in black. For jury selections, imagery is projected so on-black is certainly the way to go. Good thing I still am fairly polished at Photoshop tools.
Doing art is only the first step… then there’s the presentation… the marketing and then the sales/delivery.
