First exploration combining high-voltage burns w/traditional carving…

Liking where this is going… combines high-voltage (12,000V) woodburning of the center medallion with traditional Spoke/Ring carving in a Squash Blossom pattern.  Probably will add additional small elements and some color.  The center burn technique is often (mistakenly) called a “fractal” pattern.  It’s similar but not a true fractal (where patterns repeat them selves exactly).  The Lichtenberg effect was discovered in 1777 and relate to the basic principle of xerography.
