Accepted for Exhibition – National Juried: Attleboro MA Arts Museum

I’ll be among artists from 23 states invited to exhibit in the Attleboro MA Arts Museum 2017 national juried gallery opening June 15 .  Two pieces entered, one taken.  In all, ~125 works will be part of the “LINE” exhibition as curated by Kelly Bennett, Massachusetts Cultural Council program officer.  Theme celebrates all aspects of “the line…”, in various forms and media.

My accepted entry is a 9″ wood-carved basket illusion with ~40,000 1/8″ wood burn cuts, front and back (shown below).  Titled “Flower Moon”, the motif is adapted from a Pima tribal basket weave design.
