The Apotheque Spa in Oceanside CA just agreed to display/sell a consignment stash of my artwork. Cool. Catalyst for updating my consignment contract, story cards (more on that later), etc. Retail requires marketing and promotional support (duh…). Stepping up.
AZ/CO Jennifer commissioned this special piece for her husband’s birthday. He’s a tribal chief in the Delaware Tribe of Indians. The turtle is a tribal totem. Had a delightful dinner and presentation as the two stopped by our California place.
Colorado master gardener, Dale, and her fine art photographer husband David combined with a requests to create this “Koi” platter as celebration for the pond/fish in their front yard. (California) – New studio is coming together. Lathe arrived yesterday and I’ll take the week to get set-up and do some trial turning. Great to be able to turn “outside” under California sun and so near the ocean. Cool breeze and small-town Oceanside is just about perfect.
